On Trial...
This week I've unconsciously enlisted a range of pink products to be on trial and what a sweet result it's been...
BISOUS FACIAL CLEANSING WIPES
Even after beauty bible Gemma Watts recommended these little facial wipes, I was still a little skeptical - facial wipes that remove makeup with only water - hmmm. But honestly, when I came home from work, face full of stale makeup, I headed straight to the pretty little microfibre cloth to give it a go - and voila, makeup was gone. While I'm not sure if it would remove your Saturday night smokey eye situation, it absolutely takes off all your everyday makeup without even trying. And I gotta say, there's something kinda luxurious about cleaning your face with a warm cloth, I'm not sure why, but I like it.

BENEFIT BOI-iNG airbrush concealer
Benefit's new airbrush concealer is all about staying power. It's designed to last more than 10 hours, cover dark circles and smooth the appearance of fine lines. I like a super lightweight concealer, so I'd not go for this as my everyday coverup but I will definitely use it when I know I've got a long day or big night ahead of me. Even after cleaning my hands with soap and water, it still remained on the back of my hand, refusing to budge. So if you're after a concealer that's got your back all day then Boi-ing is for you. It's coverage is grand and it certainly delivers.

NARS ORGASM LIQUID BLUSH
I've heard the noise about NARS Orgasm blush for years and I've still never tried it (I know, dumb - I'll go buy it tomorrow) so when I heard about the liquid version, I was instantly intrigued. It's much more pink than the powder I was told, and while I usually prefer coral, peachy or orange tones, I was quietly delighted with this little bottle of goodness. It's easy to apply - I always pat or tap the colour through the apple of my cheek and over the cheekbone - and the colour is glowy skin perfection, not too pink, not too shimmery, just right!

THE BEAUTY BLENDER
Even when I worked as a makeup artist years ago, I was never, ever about sponges for a million reasons, hence why it's taken me so long to get around to actually trying the beauty blender. Wetting the sponge certainly helps ensure you don't waste as much product and I do really love the smooth finish, especially when using my Chantecaille tinted moisturiser. But, what I really love it for is blending my concealer, especially over and around my eyes as it really blends the product into place and I find my concealer lasting even longer than normal.
