My Top 9 looks from MBFWA
It's been just over a week since Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia finished up which means I've finally found time to debrief on the week and sort through my gazillion photos. It's also mean't I've had time to properly catch up on each & every collection and suss out what we're going to be wearing next season. So after much runway image perusing on Vogue.com.au, I could waffle on about 'trends to try', but really, if you're trend watching & you're like me, then you're probably looking to the streets for your inspo. So instead, I've pulled together my fav looks from the MBFWA runways, because they're simply that - my favourite.

KitxI'm always a sucker for dress/tunic over pants and khaki is always good to work with. Plus the ace hair in this look has me wanting to book in for a perm yesterday #distractedbythestyling plus the texture is a fresh look for the new season.

Bec & BridgeThe ongoing 90's redux has me rekindling my love for satin and this champagne colour is right up my alley. Probably because it's the precise colour & fabric combo of my dream wedding dress when I was 8 years old.

By JohnnyI feel we're on the verge of seeing a return to 70's glam this season. With so much eclecticism and 'happy' fashion coming down runways internationally, surely the glittery days of lame are due for a modern come back.

Dion LeeAgain it's the satin thing. But it's also the colour - a bright optimistic look at standard chic dressing, and I am so on board. Dion is the undisputed king of slinky dressing and his restraint but also prefect tailoring shows why with this look.

MacgrawI love seeing prints back on the runway and Macgraw have nailed the fresh floral vibe in this flirty combo without making it feel 'nana'. Again, the return of 'happy' fashion wins and oh how nice to see smiling models too.

Cmeo CollectiveWardrobe staples are always necessary and well worth updating each season, so these crisp whites are my picks for the new season. I love the tort buttons too, small detail but it's the little things that make all the difference.

Karla SpeticThis season everyone is pushing the bad-taste boundaries, so why wouldn't a vintage image of a European coastal village work on a dress. Exactly, and precisely why I love it. See-ya digi-print has beens, I'm all about photos on clothes now.

MaticevskiIf you're going to wear a gown, do it right and wear Maticevski. As a longtime gold lover, this dress had me at hello. Were so many gold gowns go wrong and end up looking like an Oscar, the brilliance in this dress lies in it's structure and modern tailoring.

Manning CartellSlinky sexy is where it's with this dress. If you think about it effortless glamour is the epitome of what every woman is constantly aiming for (in life) and Manning get this, evidently. Note: Colour, yellow again = 'Happy' Fashion.
