VAMFF 2019

The Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival is arguably our country’s most sucessfull consumer fashion week. Along with a week’s worth of runway shows at the Royal Exhibiton Buildings, the festival boasts an impressive lineup of seminars, panel discussions and trunkshow style presentations. While many within the fashion industry shun these types of consumer events, I really enjoy watching non-industry people who genuinely love fashion and all that goes with it, really embrace the week and get excited about the things that many have now become immune to.

As I have for six years now, I wandered around pre-show, shooting the outfits of attendees and avoided those hanging around just for photos. Here’s what I cam up with…
