Polo in the City

Yesterday I was lucky enough to score an invite to the Landrover Polo, a Melbourne mainstay I've never previously attended - mainly because of my aversion to crossing the river - jokes, sort of. Anyway, what a glorious day it turned out to be, unfotuntely I'd predicted Melbs would turn cold so had opted for an all black pants ensemble. Not my finest moment.If like me, you've never been to the Polo, in a nutshell, it's basically a casual & relaxed version of the races. People dressed up in that challenging 'smart-daywear' dresscode, hanging around marquees and occasionally seeing a horse or two. With Aperol Spritz on the go and plenty of comfy areas to lounge around in, the Landrover Marquee was definitely the place to be - even Bachie Wood in his green shorts-suit and high-top chucks thought so...
